CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

The best CSI crew in our hearts.

~*~Airdate: Thursdays at 9:00pm Eastern Time, CBS~*~

6/26/03: Abra Cadaver

The strange worlds of magic and rock music are explored in this creepy episode. Grissom (William Petersen) investigates when a woman vanishes while taking part in a magician's act. The female volunteer is placed inside the Amazing Zephyr's “Chamber of Doom” and the illusionist (Tom Noonan) thrusts swords through the box. When it's opened, she's gone---and doesn't reappear in her seat as she's supposed to. Only traces of blood are left inside the chamber. Clues lead the CSIs to an eerie, decrepit mansion filled with secrets. Elsewhere, a rock star's death on a band bus appears to be the result of an overdose, but Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) uncovers evidence that points to murder.

~*~Airdate: Mondays at 11:05pm Eastern Time, TNN~*~

Reruns on TNN of CSI: Season One, immediately follows "WWE", so the time is irregular.

6/23/03: Felonius Monk

Grissom investigates the murders of four monks who were shot point blank while chanting in a Buddhist temple; Catherine reopens a cold case in which her best friend was murdered, after the man convicted of the crime claims he's innocent shortly before he dies.

CSI: Miami

~*~Airdate: Weeknights at 10pm Eastern time, CBS~*~

6/23/03: Double Cap

Horatio (David Caruso) battles the FBI and U.S. Marshals in this well-crafted episode as he tries to uncover why a beautiful woman was murdered poolside at a ritzy hotel. His investigation begins shortly after the bikini-clad 27-year-old is found dead from two shots to the head. Evidence suggests it was a professional hit, which is strange enough. But the case becomes really puzzling when the Feds take an interest and U.S. Marshals show up. Plus, the murder weapon may be linked to a cold case once investigated by Horatio's sister-in-law (Sofia Milos). Elsewhere, Calleigh confronts her dad about his drinking problem after she's called away from work to drag him out of a bar.

Without A Trace

These are the guys I'd want looking for me.

~*~Airdate: Thursdays at 10:00pm Eastern Time, CBS~*~

6/05/03: Underground Railroad

Jack (Anthony LaPaglia) and his team search for a missing pregnant woman in this intriguingly complex episode. Expectant mother Kathy Dobson (Nicole DeHuff) is nearly full term when she vanishes from a hospital. While investigators usually operate under the guideline that a person needs to be found within 48 hours, a doctor---who has test results unknown to Kathy---reveals that she could die if she's not found within 24 hours. The search leads to an illegal, though benevolent, organization that has Kathy in protective care. But if its members divulge her whereabouts, they risk exposure. It's an ethical boundary that agents realize they may have to cross in order to save Kathy's life.

Profiler

Alvarez, Grant, Waters, Fraley, and Malone: The FBI's VCTF

~*~Airdate: Weeknights at 6pm Eastern time, CourtTV~*~

My apologies for not keeping up on Profiler's episode's airtimes. I'm trying to work out a more feasible solution than having to list them all out weekly. I'm trying to get an episode guide underway. Any suggestions are welcome. Feel free to drop me a line.

Enterprise

Mayweather, Reed, T'Pol, Archer, Sato, Phlox, and Tucker

~*~Airdate: Wednesdays at 8pm Eastern time, UPN~*~

06/25/03: Stigma

In this affecting AIDS allegory, Jolene Blalock exudes a cool vulnerability as T'Pol, who reveals that she has a rare illness linked to a sect of Vulcan outcasts. The pointed episode, which continues the Star Trek tradition of addressing social issues through its sci-fi storylines, finds T'Pol confronting the symptoms and stigmas involved with Pa'nar's syndrome. It's a brain ailment associated with mind melders---the telepathic, emotional Vulcans ostracized by their logical, unemotional peers. Wary of the disgrace that disclosure might bring, T'Pol hides her condition while Dr. Phlox (John Billingsley) discreetly consults Vulcan physicians about treatment.
